Fans thought that the women’s WarGames match was on. That being said, the card is always subject to change.
During the November 14 episode of WWE SmackDown, they kicked off the show with quite a segment. Rhea Ripley and IYO Sky came out to talk about WarGames, but they lost a partner in the process.
Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss were introduced as Rhea and IYO’s other partners. The former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions made their way down, but that wasn’t the end of the story.
Charlotte Flair cut Rhea Ripley short, saying that she can’t do this anymore. She simply stated that she doesn’t like Ripley, because there is too much history there. Flair told Bliss that she’s still her friend, and she will support her choice to be a part of WarGames, but the match isn’t for her.
The opening segment of SmackDown this week ended with Charlotte Flair walking off. We will have to see if she has a change of heart, or if someone else fills that spot.
We will keep a close eye on this story for more updates. This just goes to show that you never know what will happen on a weekly basis in WWE.
