Charlotte Flair has been part of the pro wrestling business for her entire life but she obviously has interests outside wrestling. While fans wonder what she’ll do next, Flair has now revealed she wants to do reality TV shows.
While speaking on the Nikki and Brie Show, Charlotte Flair was asked what she’d most like to do outside the ring that people haven’t really seen from her, especially now with the TKO group and WWE superstars branching out more than ever.
Flair told Nikki Bella that she absolutely wants to do Dancing with the Stars, and also has her sights set on being part of the RuPaul’s Drag Race universe. She joked that the outfits are already half the battle, so those two are definitely on her bucket list.
“Oh Nikki, I want to do Dancing with the Stars. That, and I really want to be on—what am I drawing… like, uh, the RuPaul drag queen show. The outfits are already there, so one of those is on my bucket list.”
The Queen of WWE brought up how Chris Jericho and The Miz have crossed over into these kinds of projects too, stating it’s often about women but the men have made their marks as well.
Flair admitted she’s keeping her fingers crossed for opportunities, especially looking toward August. Being on RuPaul’s Drag Race appeals to her because of the outfits, the glamour, the makeup, everything that lines up perfectly with the Charlotte Flair character.
“Chris Jericho—oh, Jericho and The Miz. Oh, and The Miz, and The Miz. I know it’s always easy to forget the men, but—well, as far as women, yes. Always looking for people up until August, fingers crossed. Oh my, I’m so fingers crossed. But the RuPaul drag show too would be fun, just because of their outfits, the glamour, the makeup, all of it. The Charlotte Flair character, I feel like, fits right in there.”
Flair talked about how they were putting it out into the universe. Right now, she’s still taking acting classes and waiting for the right role to come along. As much as she loves wrestling and could do it forever, she knows it’s not a forever job inside the ring and so she’s also trying to figure out what she enjoys outside of it.
Wrestling has been her entire heart and soul for a decade. Thinking about shows like Dancing with the Stars or being a judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race gives her that spark that rush of being on stage and feeling competitive nerves that only someone who’s experienced it can really understand.
“We’re putting it out in the universe. I’m still in acting class, just waiting for the right role or if something happens. I think for me—I love wrestling. I could wrestle forever. I know it’s not a forever job in the ring; obviously, there’s many roles outside of the ring. So right now, besides being the best that I can be in the ring, it’s really trying to navigate and see what do I like outside of the ring, because that’s been my heart and soul for ten years.
But like, when I think of Dancing with the Stars or being a judge on one of those RuPaul shows, I’m like, ‘Oh, that excites me.’ That gives me those—not necessarily butterflies, but you know when you’re on stage, that competitive nervous feel? Totally. You can’t explain it to someone unless you’ve been in it. That rush.”
Charlotte Flair has already portrayed a serial killer in a horror movie in the past. Therefore, we’ll have to wait and see whether Flair will get her wish and star in any of the abovementioned reality TV shows.
