Charlotte Flair is used to owning the spotlight, but her latest social media post landed her in the middle of fan drama—and she wasted no time cleaning it up.
The Queen of WWE took to Twitter to hype her new tag team partnership with Alexa Bliss, but ended up editing the post after fans accused her of jacking Giulia’s nickname.
Flair originally shared a photo with Bliss, captioning it “Beautiful Madness,” seemingly giving their team a name. But fans were quick to call her out, pointing out that Beautiful Madness is already associated with Giulia, who recently joined WWE.
One fan even joked about legal action, “i just let giulia know to send that cease and desist.” Another fan told Flair directly ,“Stop stealing Giulia’s nickname 😂😂”
After the backlash rolled in, Flair quietly edited the post, removing the nickname entirely and leaving just a black heart emoji. But that didn’t stop fans from pointing it out.
“We saw the caption mama,” one fan replied, making it clear the internet never forgets.
Despite the online drama, Flair and Bliss are focused on next week’s WWE Evolution 2 Premium Live Event, where they’ll compete for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. Whether they walk out with the gold or more fan drama, we’ll have to wait and see.
Charlotte trying to play it cool with a little emoji swap wasn’t slick enough for the internet detectives. Fans clocked that “Beautiful Madness” caption in record time, and they’re not letting it slide. Whether it was an honest mistake or not, one thing’s for sure—the Queen’s got her hands full with more than just a tag team title match next week.
What’s your take—was Charlotte’s caption a harmless mix-up or should she have known better? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
