Charlotte Flair may not be swiping right—but she’s definitely keeping her options open, especially when it comes to dating a football star.

During the February 9, 2026 episode of The Nikki and Brie Show, the WWE star gave a fresh update on her dating preferences and didn’t shy away when asked what kind of guy she’s looking for next. When Nikki Bella suggested she’d end up with a football player, Charlotte didn’t object—in fact, she ran with it.

“Yeah, and with a lot of hair,” Flair said when Nikki said she could see her with a “tall, hot football player.”

Brie Bella pressed a little further, asking whether Charlotte preferred someone still in the game or already retired. The Queen made it clear she’s not picky when it comes to their career status: “In the game… actually, I don’t care. I’ll take active or retired.”

This comes months after Flair opened up during a 2025 episode of the same show, where she admitted she’s no fan of dating apps. Following her 2024 divorce from Andrade, Flair said she hadn’t used any dating platforms since and prefers to meet people the old-fashioned way.

“I was on Raya for like three months, in like 2016. I don’t even know if I still have the membership. But I haven’t been on a dating app since my divorce was final. I’d rather meet the old-fashioned way.”

Instead, Flair joked that her legendary father Ric Flair has basically become her personal matchmaker—sometimes to her embarrassment.

“I think my dad’s like my app. He’s like, ‘I’ve got a friend, I’ve got a friend.’ I’m like, ‘Dad, sir, sit down. Sit down. I don’t need your help in this area.’ He’s like the most embarrassing. Just puts it out there like, ‘My daughter’s single.’ I’m like, ‘Dad, yeah, I did not give you a license to say that.’”

Despite the awkward moments, Flair appears to be stepping into her next chapter with confidence and clarity. Whether it’s an active player or a retired pro, The Queen knows what she wants—and she’s ready when the chemistry’s right.
