Charlotte Flair is making her stance clear — if she’s stepping onto the WrestleMania 42 stage, she wants Alexa Bliss right there with her.
With reports already pointing toward a potential multi-team Women’s Tag Team Title match at WrestleMania 42, Flair has now added her own voice to the conversation — and it lines up closely with those rumored plans. Speaking in a new interview with Complex, Flair opened up about the possibility of teaming with Bliss on “The Grandest Stage of Them All,” making it clear that this isn’t just speculation — it’s something she actively wants.
“If you had asked me this time last year, going into WrestleMania possibly as a tag team with Alexa Bliss after having one of your most successful character development years and engaging with the audience and having this much fun, I’d be like, ‘I don’t know what you’re smoking.’”
Flair acknowledged that nothing is officially locked in yet, but made it clear that both she and Bliss are on the same page about pushing for that opportunity. She then made it personal, explaining why Bliss is the partner she wants — pointing to everything they’ve been through together over the past year.
“We don’t have a clear path to WrestleMania right now, but I know how Lexi feels, I know how I feel — we’re going to do everything we can in our power to get on WrestleMania and fight for those tag team championships if there is an opportunity. After the year I’ve had with Lexi, she’s who I want to share the stage with. Going from winning at SummerSlam to being at WarGames and winning together, then to the Royal Rumble where I was entrant #1 and she was entrant #2, choosing to fight by her side and not toss her over — she is who I want beside me.”
Flair also added what’s at stake for her personally, noting that WrestleMania 42 could mark another major milestone in her career: “If I’m on the card this year, that would be my ninth WrestleMania.”
With WrestleMania 42 just weeks away, Flair’s comments add real weight to the ongoing rumors. While nothing is officially confirmed, it’s clear that if a multi-team title match does happen, she’s pushing hard to be part of it — and she already knows exactly who she wants in her corner.
