The stakes just got a whole lot bigger for TNA Bound for Glory, and it’s all thanks to The Hardys’ latest victory on WWE NXT.
Matt and Jeff Hardy pulled off a major win on WWE NXT ShowDown, defeating DarkState to become the new NXT Tag Team Champions. But the celebration didn’t stop there. TNA has now confirmed that their match against Team 3D at Bound for Glory will officially be a double title showdown.
TNA made the announcement via Twitter shortly after the episode aired, confirming that both sets of tag titles will be up for grabs.
“BREAKING: After their historic victory on last night’s #WWENXT, The Hardys vs. Team 3D: One Final Table at #TNABoundForGlory LIVE on PPV and TNA+ THIS SUNDAY will now be for both the TNA and @WWENXT Tag Team Titles!”
The Dudleys—aka Team 3D—were seen sitting ringside during the NXT match, witnessing The Hardys reclaim tag gold. With the history between these two legendary teams, the decision to put both the TNA and NXT titles on the line at Bound for Glory just adds another explosive layer to their final showdown, billed as One Final Table.
The Hardys now walk into the match with both sets of championships, but holding onto them will be an entirely different challenge. Team 3D is looking to make history and go out with one more reign—this time as dual champions. Whether you’re Team Hardy or Team Dudley, this double-title war is going to shake things up in both promotions.
