“Before we start, before we get serious, before we talk about wrestling, I have one question, sir,” Chad said. “What are the chances—you and I—we do a match? Because I’ve been a wrestling fan since I was a little kid and I just—I would love to share the ring with you and just whatever happens, happens.”

Rollins didn’t hesitate and welcomed the idea with open arms.

“Oh hey man, you put your mind to it, you get down, you get training, you get going. I’m always available, my friend. We are working 52 weeks a year. We are on 24/7. Anytime you need a title shot, you let the people of WWE know—I got your back, man. Let’s do it.”

The conversation stayed light as Chad joked that he wasn’t ready for the world to see it. “We don’t have to do it in front of the world,” he laughed. Rollins wasn’t having it. “Oh, that’s the fun, man. Come on! Don’t be shy now.”

Chad laughed and admitted he needed to bulk up first. “Let me put on 20 more pounds first. Let me put on 20 more pounds. I think about it.” Seth, still smiling, locked it in with a simple reply. “Deal.”
