The 2026 Royal Rumble took place at Riyadh Season Stadium in the King Abdullah Financial District in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Surprises were around every corner, but one huge debut was already promoted by WWE, and fans were expecting Oba Femi, but they weren’t expecting a masked man making his return to the company.
During the Men’s Royal Rumble match, The Original El Grande Americano made his way out. It was soon obvious that this was Chad Gable. Then he eliminated the new one. Then the OG Americano was taken out of the match right after that.
This may have been a short appearance for the Original El Grande Americano, but it marked a big moment for Chad Gable. He is now back in the company
Chad Gable has been out of action with an injury for several months. In his absence, Ludwig Kaiser put on the El Grande Americano mask, and he carried on the gimmick.
It appears that Chad Gable is back to action. We will have to see how WWE deals with this confusing storyline from this point on.
