Cedric Alexander first made his mark in WWE through the Cruiserweight Classic tournament in 2016, and while he saw some success in the company, he was ultimately let go by WWE last month. With that said, Alexander’s first pro wrestling appearance after his WWE exit has been revealed.

United Pro Wrestling took to Twitter and confirmed that Cedric Alexander will compete at the promotion’s “Ready or Not!” event on May 10 in New Bern, North Carolina. Savannah Evans and Maya World are also scheduled to appear.

During his time in WWE, Alexander won the Cruiserweight Championship, 24/7 Championship, and Raw Tag Team Championship. His release came as a surprise, especially since he had signed a new contract in September 2024.

United Pro Wrestling is just the beginning for Cedric Alexander. It’s possible he could appear in AEW, NJPW, TNA, or even make a return to WWE in the future. With his talent and experience, fans are excited to see how he will make 2025 his year.
