Cedric Alexander’s run in TNA Wrestling is no longer a mystery — he’s officially under contract. The former WWE standout has been featured on TNA programming for months, and now his status has finally been confirmed.
According to Fightful Select, Alexander is indeed signed to TNA. His contract details, including the length of the deal, haven’t been made public, but this clears up speculation about whether he was working under a formal agreement or simply appearing on a per-date basis.
TNA has historically gone back and forth on using contracted vs. non-contracted talent, and Alexander’s case was just one of several unclear situations. Despite online speculation, Alexander is not headed to AEW — at least for now. Some fans had linked him to the new Hurt Syndicate group, but that rumor has been shut down for the time being.
Now that he’s officially part of the TNA roster, all eyes are on what comes next for Alexander. With his talent and experience, he could easily become a major player in the promotion if given the right spotlight.
Do you think TNA is the right place for Cedric Alexander, or would you rather see him join AEW’s Hurt Syndicate down the line? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let us know what you’d do with him.
