Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali Set for WrestleMania Rematch at TNA Slammiversary

Two of the biggest names to ever come out of WWE 205 Live are about to settle unfinished business—this time, inside a TNA ring.

On July 20th at Slammiversary, Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali will face off at the UBS Arena on Long Island, New York, rekindling a rivalry that dates back to their days battling for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship.

Cedric made his surprise TNA debut on June 20, revealing himself as the mystery person Tasha Steelz had been contacting to help reason with Ali. The two men share a long history, competing side by side and against each other during their 205 Live days, including their classic match at WrestleMania 34.

During a heated confrontation on the July 3rd episode of iMPACT, Cedric tried to appeal to their friendship, bringing up their time together in WWE. But Ali wasn’t interested in walking down memory lane. Instead, he demanded a rematch.
