Carmella has been vocal about her WWE exit, calling out the company for ghosting her after she pitched a non-wrestling role and questioning why she wasn’t given the same opportunities as injured male stars. But after fans flooded her mentions—some even going as far as to tell her she should die—she’s making it crystal clear she won’t be silenced.
After one fan tried to support her by tweeting: “I’m sorry all these disgusting people are mad at you for simply existing and sharing your experience.”
Carmella responded with a blunt message that sums up exactly why she’s speaking out. “Literally. This is why women are afraid to speak up because they get ridiculed nonstop for it. But it is what it is! I’d rather be hated for telling the truth than stay silent. 🤷🏻♀️”
This whole situation started when Carmella shared her frustration over WWE cutting her loose while still keeping Corey Graves employed. She also pointed out the blatant pay gap between men and women in the company, saying:
“It is 2025, and we still have a long way to go with equality. I think the women there are extremely underpaid compared to the men. That’s just a fact. Everyone there knows it. The women working there know it. They maybe can’t say it because they’re working there. Let me say it. I’m going to say it and speak up for them because it’s important.”
Her comments have sparked heated debates, but Carmella isn’t backing down. She’s made it clear she’ll take the hate if it means standing up for what she believes in.
