TNA Wrestling is making its biggest leap yet—Thursday Night iMPACT! is officially moving to AMC starting January 15, 2026. But one major question has had fans fired up: will TNA go live every week next year? Now, TNA President Carlos Silva is setting the record straight.

During his appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show, Silva gave fans a behind-the-scenes peek at what the live schedule could really look like—and it’s more calculated than chaotic. Helwani asked directly:

“You told me the hope was 52 weeks live— is that still the plan?”

Silva didn’t hesitate to give a clear-eyed answer:

“I’m a live guy. I’ve been in the live sports business my whole career. We did a little more live this year for TNA, and I think we’re going to do even more live in the first 3 to 6 months. We’ll get our rhythm with our new partner, and then in the second half, we’ll decide how much more live content we can do—based on operations, finances, and the logistics of going live on a weekly basis.”

That means fans will see more live action in early 2026, but Silva isn’t rushing into a full-on 52-week sprint without careful planning.

“We’re going to be smart in the first 6 months and make sure we’re doing all the right things to kick the partnership off strong. We don’t want to add too much too fast that could get in the way. But yes, doing a little more live in the first 6 months is definitely in the cards.”

So, what’s the roadmap? It’s still Thursday nights, 9–11 PM ET, every week—but not always 100% live. In fact, TNA plans to work smarter with dual-night strategies.

“In some of those cases, we’ll stay in the venue after a live Thursday night show and get in a TV taping or two on Friday or Saturday for the upcoming weeks. That’s the plan.”

TNA is gearing up for a massive 2026, and Silva’s playbook shows a balance between ambition and strategy as the company prepares to light up AMC.

What do you think of TNA’s live show strategy? Would you prefer weekly live action or a smart mix of tapings and live broadcasts? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let us know how you feel about TNA’s future on AMC!
