Running a pro wrestling company is no small feat—especially for someone who entered the game with zero experience. But Carlos Silva proved in 2025 that he’s not just here to keep TNA afloat—he’s here to grow it.

In just one year under Silva’s leadership, TNA Wrestling drew some of its largest attendance numbers ever, landed its biggest television deal to date, and formed an active partnership with WWE—a collaboration that would’ve been unthinkable just a few years ago.

Silva credits his early success to humility, learning fast, and surrounding himself with the right people. He explained that even without a pro wrestling background, the core leadership principles still applied.

“The foundational pieces are all very similar,” Silva said. “I was able to let people know that foundationally, I had all of that. I let them get to know me so they knew I had all of those things.”

But he also admitted that the first year came with a steep learning curve—something he embraced.

“Listen hard and learn. Even in 2025, we were on the road, we did 52 shows on AXS TV, we did 4 PPVs, I’ve already done a lot of wrestling in one year and you learn a lot along the way. First three months were a lot of learning, second three months you feel better, third three months you get your sea legs and by the end of the year you understand the industry better.”

One of the biggest storylines of Silva’s tenure so far? The formal partnership with WWE—something that helped bring TNA back into the spotlight in a big way. WWE stars have appeared on TNA programming, and the companies have quietly begun sharing talent for special appearances.

“We’ve got these great partners in WWE that have built this industry over 50 years and they’ve helped us become smarter and hopefully make some good decisions,” Silva said.

That partnership is far from over. On Thursday, January 15, WWE’s AJ Styles is set to appear on the premiere of TNA iMPACT! on its new home, AMC—another milestone moment in the company’s ongoing evolution.

As Silva leads TNA into 2026, fans are watching closely to see how far this momentum can carry the promotion. With increased visibility, stronger business moves, and a WWE relationship still growing, TNA’s comeback story is one of the most unexpected—and exciting—developments in pro wrestling right now.
