TNA Wrestling’s massive leap to AMC has set the wrestling world on fire—but not in the way fans expected. Just days after TNA confirmed that Thursday Night iMPACT! will debut live on January 15, 2026, on AMC and AMC+, reports swirled that WWE could pull the plug on its working relationship with TNA.

The concern? That the AMC deal triggered a 60-day termination clause in the WWE–TNA agreement, potentially ending nearly two years of crossover chaos between WWE NXT and TNA. But TNA President Carlos Silva is shutting all of that down—and he’s not sugarcoating it.

Speaking to The Takedown, Carlos Silva dismissed the reports and doubled down on his commitment to keeping the partnership going strong.

“Yeah, I don’t even understand the wrestling community sometimes when things like this come out. We’ve all been in sports entertainment our whole careers. I mean, we’re coming out with great news that TNA is on a major network… and then the first report that comes out is that the partner that has been so great and that we’ve worked so well with over these last nine months—it’s just really, frankly, it’s a bunch of silliness. We have a great relationship.”

When asked point-blank if he believes WWE will trigger the clause, Silva made his stance clear—and revealed that top executives from both sides are actively working together.

“It’s all going to continue. There’s a lot of things in the works, working with at the top levels with both Nick [Khan] and Paul [Levesque] and then working with NXT with Shawn [Michaels] and Johnny [Russo], and [Jeremy Borash], and so many others. Everyone’s been great. So no, I have zero buzz or inkling around anything other than it being going great. And we’re going to continue to keep the partnerships going strong.”

So for now, the WWE–TNA collaboration that brought stars like Jordynne Grace into NXT rings appears safe—and Silva sounds confident it’ll stay that way even as TNA levels up on AMC.

With Thursday Night iMPACT! just weeks away from its live debut in Dallas, Silva’s message is clear: the WWE–TNA era isn’t over.
