Carlito has no plans to take his talents anywhere else—when the time comes, he wants to retire in WWE.

Speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, the former United States Champion made it clear that he values loyalty and sees himself finishing his career with the company that made him a star.

“I have a thing with loyalty. I’ve only ever been a WWE guy, I always kind of liked it, being a one-company guy,” Carlito said. “As long as they’ll have me, I think I’ll always try to stay loyal to WWE as long as I could. And honestly, I’d like to end my career with them.”

While he hasn’t mapped out exactly how he wants to go out, Carlito threw out an idea that could give him a memorable sendoff.

“You know, I haven’t thought that far ahead. You know what it’d probably be? It’d be a hair match, like hair vs something, hair vs mustache against Dominik [Mysterio]. Yeah, and then maybe I’ll get my head shaved and ride off into the sunset.”

Carlito’s career has already seen him defeat John Cena in his WWE debut, share the ring with legends like Roddy Piper and Steve Austin at WrestleMania 21, and make a surprising return in 2021 before officially rejoining WWE full-time in 2023. Now, he’s focused on what’s next—but when the time comes to hang up his boots, he’s staying in WWE.
