Cardi B’s WWE SummerSlam hosting duties came with a VIP moment behind the scenes—one that WWE fans weren’t expecting to see.

Before making her grand entrance at MetLife Stadium to kick off Night One of the first-ever two-night SummerSlam, the music superstar crossed paths with WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque. Backstage footage from the ‘gorilla position’ shows the two exchanging words and sharing a quick hug just moments before she stepped through the curtain.

Dressed in sleek all-black, Cardi went on to hype up the live crowd, letting them know SummerSlam was live from the tri-state area. She polled fans on their favorites, with Logan Paul getting little love and Randy Orton earning a roar from the audience—something Cardi happily backed up, saying, “I love me some Randy Orton!”
