Cardi B Says She’s Not Ready Yet But Plans to Step Into WWE Ring One Day

Cardi B just crushed her SummerSlam hosting gig, but she might not be done with WWE just yet. The rap superstar is now teasing that a match inside the squared circle could be in her future.

In a new interview with Complex Sports, Cardi was asked whether she’d ever consider getting physical in WWE, and she didn’t shy away from the idea. While she admitted she’s not quite ready, the door is clearly open.

“I could get in the ring right now, what’s up? Who wanna challenge me — I ain’t there yet, but I’ll come for y’all one day.”

Cardi B’s performance at SummerSlam was all the first night of the two-night event at MetLife Stadium. She delivered an energetic opening promo on Night One and appeared in several backstage segments throughout the weekend.

But the real drama may still be coming. In the weeks leading up to SummerSlam, Cardi B got into it with several WWE superstars online. Both Bayley and Chelsea Green traded jabs with her, with Green even going as far as pitching a tag team pairing. While it was all fun and games at the time, her newest comments suggest those exchanges may have just been the beginning. Whether she’s dropping bars or powerbombs, Cardi B has made it clear she’s not finished with WWE.
