Bully Ray Almost Returned to Impact Wrestling

PWInsider reports that Bully Ray came very close to returning to Impact Wrestling after Drew Galloway turned down his new deal with the promotion.

Impact reportedly offered Ray a big-money deal to return with a top spot, however the deal ending up falling through for some unknown reason. When it was clear that Ray wasn’t returning, officials reached out to Alberto El Patron Wednesday night and a deal was reached between the two. From there, Patron would go on to win the Impact Championship at Thursday’s tapings.
