Buff Bagwell is determined to get back in the wrestling ring — even after losing his leg. The former WCW star opened up about his future during an interview on Grind City Media, revealing that his return to action isn’t just wishful thinking — it’s a matter of when, not if.

Bagwell, who had his leg amputated after a devastating 2020 car crash, says he plans to use an elite, military-grade prosthetic leg to get himself back in ring shape. The prosthetic, known as the Genium X4, comes equipped with a microprocessing knee and costs between $130,000 and $150,000. It’s designed for extreme conditions, the kind Navy SEALs face in combat.

“It’s called a microprocessing knee. It’s a $130,000 — $130 to $150,000 leg is what’s coming. And it’s called a Genium X4. And it’s all got all these cool names, but it’s made for a Navy SEAL. Wet, dry, sand — whatever. It’s like the Mac Daddy of all legs,” Bagwell explained.

Bagwell knows it won’t be instant — his body will need time to adjust, especially for wrestling movements like running ropes and hitting the mat. But the former nWo member says if he can do a burpee with the new leg, then nothing is off limits.

“If I can do a burpee, there’s nothing I can’t do. Right? And your brain and everything, and your hip, has got to learn that process of running the ropes — wink — getting up and down… getting up and down with a burpee.”

What gives him the most confidence? Videos of amputees running full speed — smooth, without a limp — using the same prosthetic.

“I’m watching people run full stride with not a hitch in their giddy-up. And if that’s the case, you know, there’s no doubt you’ll see Buff Bag in the ring again.”

Even though he hasn’t received the prosthetic yet, Bagwell made it crystal clear: he’s not finished.

“This is going from — keep in mind — I don’t have a prosthetic leg yet. But if the videos I’m looking at and the verbiage I’m hearing are just 10% correct… I will pro wrestle again. Easily.”

Bagwell’s comeback journey is already inspiring, and with the help of cutting-edge tech and relentless belief in himself, it sounds like “Buff Daddy” is far from done.
