Hulk Hogan passed away earlier this week and now Bubba the Love Sponge has revealed how he found out about Hogan’s worsening condition before anyone else.

While speaking on his YouTube channel, Bubba the Love Sponge shared new details about the circumstances surrounding Hulk Hogan’s passing. According to him, Hogan’s cardiac arrest was the result of a series of health issues that began long ago, specifically after complications from cervical and back surgery.

During that procedure, doctors had to move Hogan’s esophagus, and something went wrong, either a nick or similar damage, which marked the beginning of a slow and steady decline in his health.

“You’ll see that the cardiac arrest was a series of events going back to the complications he had with his cervical and back surgery. When they moved his esophagus, they nicked it or did something to it, and that was kind of the start of his downward spiral.”

Bubba also revealed that just a day before Hulk Hogan passed, someone emailed his show claiming they lived nearby and had witnessed a hospital bed and medical equipment being delivered to Hogan’s home.

This account aligned with what another source, a valet at Morton Plant Hospital, told Bubba. That source claimed Hogan had been transported via ambulance with unmarked police vehicles.

Based on what Bubba gathered, it appeared Hogan may have only spent a single day at home before his condition worsened. When he was taken out, eyewitnesses noted there were no emergency life-saving measures being performed; no CPR, no oxygen mask, and no traditional ambulance in sight. Instead, he was transported in a van following a fire truck.

“You know, two days ago—wait, no, that was yesterday—yeah, yesterday, we had a guy email the show. He said, ‘Listen, I live pretty close by,’ and apparently a hospital bed and all this equipment was delivered to Hogan’s house.

And that matches up with what the valet I know at Morton Plant told me—he said they put him in an ambulance with unmarked police cars to move him.

It sounds like he maybe only made it one day at home. When they rolled him out and people were taking pictures… they weren’t doing chest compressions. No oxygen on his face. There was no ambulance. Just a van. No fire truck—well, a fire truck, but the van was behind it. He was picked up at 9:51. I think they declared him dead at 11:17.”

Fans all over the world are mourning the loss of one of wrestling’s biggest legends. Hogan was always busy, showing up for events and meeting fans, which made him loved by millions. But in the end, that busy lifestyle may have hurt his health far too much until it was too late.

Do you think Hulk Hogan’s intense post-retirement schedule contributed to his health decline, or was it simply part of who he was — always giving to his fans? Sound off in the comments.
