Bryan Danielson hasn’t been an active in-ring talent for almost a year at this point, but AEW President Tony Khan has now confirmed Danielson for a full-time role in a different way.

Tony Khan took to Twitter and announced that starting this Wednesday, Bryan Danielson will be joining the AEW Dynamite commentary team full-time. He welcomed Danielson back and confirmed that fans will hear him on commentary during Wednesday Night Dynamite.

“Starting this Wednesday, @bryandanielson The American Dragon will join the Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite commentary team full-time! Welcome back Bryan on Dynamite this Wednesday Night, + See you on @TNTdrama And/or HBO Max 8pm ET/7pm CT For Saturday Night #AEWCollision TONIGHT!!”

The American Dragon got physical at AEW All In: Texas where he beat up members of the Death Riders. Since then, he has made occasional appearances on AEW television as part of the commentary team.
