Bryan Danielson may have stepped away from the ring, but it sounds like he’s stepped into something even more rewarding—full-time dad life.
While appearing on The Nikki & Brie Show with his wife Brie Garcia (formerly Brie Bella), Bryan opened up about what life has looked like since he left full-time wrestling behind, and it turns out it’s less about title belts and more about bike rides and T-ball games.
When Brie asked her husband for his “pop-off” moment of 2025, Bryan didn’t offer up a flashy achievement. Instead, he focused on the quiet happiness that’s come from simply being present for his family.
“I don’t have any specific moments that were just like, ‘Oh wow, this or oh wow that.’ It’s just been a very pleasant year. I was done full-time wrestling and got to be… I got to coach Buddy’s T-ball team. I get to be home more with the kids, like regularly doing stuff.”
He then shared how teaching their daughter Birdie to ride a bike became one of the most fulfilling experiences of his year:
“Finally teaching Birdie to ride her bike… she did it this year. One of my favorite things ever is just riding bikes with her now.”
Bryan went on to reflect on how stepping away from his wrestling career improved his day-to-day life, allowing him to soak in all the little moments he might have missed otherwise.
“None of it is just like this what you described as like a pop-off moment, but the general pleasantness of my life has greatly increased just being at home with everybody.”
In a world where superstars often define themselves by what happens inside the ring, Bryan’s words show there’s a whole different kind of legacy being built at home.
