After four years away from the ring, Brie Bella returned to WWE during the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble—and she didn’t prepare for it alone.

Brie and Nikki Bella recently appeared on Notsam Wrestling Live!, where they revealed that Bryan Danielson was instrumental in getting them both ready. Brie credited her husband directly:

“Obviously, my husband might be one of the greatest coaches in the world.”

But it turns out Danielson’s coaching wasn’t just limited to Brie. Nikki chimed in with a laugh. “I mean, you should see my text message from him.” Brie added that Bryan takes his coaching seriously, “And he’s a very hard coach.” Nikki even brought his notes straight to WWE veterans for input:

“I’m showing [William] Regal, like, ‘So this is what Bryan wants me to practice today.’”

Brie Bella’s return at the Royal Rumble reunited the Bella Twins in WWE, and now they’re part of the women’s tag team division for the first time in years. But behind the scenes, it was Bryan Danielson—AEW’s American Dragon—helping fine-tune the final product.

What do you think about Bryan training Brie and Nikki? Should Danielson get involved in coaching full-time when he retires? Let us know in the comments.
