Bryan Danielson Calls MJF the Most Overrated Wrestler in AEW

Bryan Danielson isn’t letting his rivalry with MJF cool down anytime soon. The two first clashed in a 60-minute Iron Man match at AEW Revolution 2023, where MJF escaped with the win in overtime and called it an “easy dub.” Now, Danielson is firing fresh shots in public.

During an appearance on UNSCRIPTED with Josh Mansour, Danielson was asked who he thinks is the most overrated wrestler right now. Without hesitation, he dropped MJF’s name. “MJF.”

Mansour noted how quickly Danielson answered, which prompted him to expand on why he singled out the AEW star.

“It’s easy to say because I can say it in a way that is in story because he’s the most hated person in AEW. Then, I can get him, if he hears this, to question, ‘Does Bryan actually think that about me?’ Which is a double win for me.”

MJF has his hands full this weekend as he steps into a Tables N Thumbtacks match against Mark Briscoe at AEW All Out, while Danielson will be providing commentary during the event. Given Danielson’s comments, fans will be watching closely to see if MJF fires back on TV or keeps the feud brewing outside the ring.
