Brooke Hogan tried to protect her dad from what she felt was a bad decision — marrying Sky Daily — and now she’s shedding light on just how concerned she was.

In a deeply personal conversation on The Bubba the Love Sponge Show, Brooke revealed she urged Hulk Hogan not to go through with the wedding, especially after he confided in her that he was feeling pressured.

Initially, Brooke supported her dad’s relationship with Sky. She felt her children were sweet and brought some needed lightness into his life.

“Sky was always really nice to me. Her children were darling… I actually told [my dad], I said, ‘If you’re not going to get married again… just enjoy them. She’s got sweet kids… maybe it would bring some levity and lightheartedness to your life.’ And he told me he was never getting married again, so I thought, okay, not a worry.”

But Hulk began to express serious doubts — and that’s when Brooke stepped in.

“But then he told me she was pushing the marriage thing really hard. And I said, ‘Dad, you don’t have to do what you don’t want to do.’ And he said, ‘I’m trying to figure a way out of this thing.’ I said, ‘Blame it on me.’ And he goes, ‘If I broke up with her, it’d be really bad.’ And I said, ‘What do you mean?’ And he goes, ‘I don’t want to get into it.’ That was the first red flag for me.”

Despite her pleas, Hogan moved forward with the marriage. For Brooke, that moment wasn’t just about the ceremony — it became a symbol of deeper fears about her father’s well-being and the people he was surrounding himself with.

Brooke’s words now paint a complicated portrait of a daughter trying to shield her father from a decision she believed could hurt him in ways he didn’t fully see.
