In the wake of Hulk Hogan’s death, his daughter Brooke Hogan is finding comfort in one final moment of connection—despite years of strained relations between the two.

Sources close to Brooke told TMZ that she learned of her father’s passing on Thursday morning through a text message her brother Nick sent to her husband. While their relationship had been distant for quite some time, Brooke is said to be “grateful she had one final chance to tell her father she loved him.”

The last time the two spoke was just two weeks before Hulk’s wedding to Sky Daily in September 2023. During that final conversation, Brooke voiced concerns about her father’s health and lifestyle.

During the emotional phone call, Hulk allegedly apologized to Brooke, though he didn’t specify what for. Despite the vague apology, Brooke appreciated the exchange. We’re told she left the conversation with a sense of closure—even though they wouldn’t speak again after that.

Sources say Brooke was always deeply protective of her dad, even if he didn’t respond with the same energy. She reportedly came “from a place of love and concern,” even when it wasn’t welcomed.

Even her husband tried to repair the rift, reaching out during a terrifying childbirth scare that nearly cost Brooke her life. Despite the gravity of the situation, Hulk is said to have responded coldly and never made the effort to meet Brooke’s children. In the end, those close to Brooke say “he ultimately didn’t want a relationship with her.”

Still, Brooke is said to be at peace—grateful that her final words to Hulk were filled with love. As one source put it, “She feels lucky she got to say ‘I love you’ before it was too late.”
