Bronson Reed and Roman Reigns went one-on-one at WWE Clash In Paris, and the match turned into one of the wildest scenes of the night. For weeks, Reed had been taunting Reigns by stealing his sneakers, and fans expected him to do it again. Instead, Reed had other plans.
The two big men went back and forth in a physical showdown before Reigns managed to score the victory. But the chaos didn’t stop there. After retrieving his sneakers and locking Paul Heyman in a guillotine, Reigns was blindsided by a spear from Bron Breakker. Reed then joined in, and the duo launched a vicious beatdown that left Reigns needing a stretcher. As Roman was strapped to a back board, Reed crushed him with a brutal Tsunami.
When a fan asked Reed why he didn’t continue his sneaker-stealing ways after the attack, he fired back with a chilling response. “I took Roman’s soul instead,” Reed wrote on social media, making it clear that he wanted to leave more than just a physical mark on the Tribal Chief.
Jey Uso tried to rush in and save his cousin, but Breakker cut him down with another spear. RAW General Manager Adam Pearce eventually stepped in, ejecting both Breakker and Reed from the arena. That left Becky Lynch to run interference later in the night, saving Seth Rollins in the main event and ensuring he retained his WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Bronson Reed’s words add an extra layer to this ongoing storyline. His declaration that he took Reigns’ “soul” instead of his shoes might signal that this rivalry is far from over.
