Bronson Reed shocked the world when he stole Roman Reigns’ sneakers during the July 28 episode of Raw and now Reed has finally explained his actions.

While speaking to Complex Sports, Bronson Reed explained that stealing Roman Reigns’ sneakers wasn’t about needing them or even liking them, it was about proving a point.

Reed said it was all about taking something simply because he could, making a bold statement in the process. Reed made it clear he plans to keep targeting Roman in the same way.

Bronson Reed also pointed out that the sneakers were a size 15, joking about Roman’s large feet by calling them “clown feet.” While he admitted the Spizikes were nice, he still said they didn’t compare to the shoes he was wearing now, which were a Levi’s collab.

“Yes. This is about taking something because I can. Making a statement. So I have Big Uce’s sneakers. It’s not because I needed them or I like them, it’s because I can take them. I’m gonna continue to do that to Roman Reigns as well. I think it’s a size 15—he’s got big feet. Clown feet for Roman Reigns. Look, the Spizikes are pretty nice, but not as nice as what’s on my feet right now.”

In the meantime, Bronson Reed will team up with Bron Breakker to square off against Roman Reigns and Jey Uso at SummerSlam Saturday, so we’ll have to see if Reigns can exact revenge and get his sneakers back as well.
