Brody King isn’t letting the internet rewrite his history—he set the record straight once and for all about his time at the Kia Forum.
On the July 20, 2025 episode of Hey! (EW) with RJ City, the AEW star addressed a rumor that he once worked as a parking lot attendant at the iconic venue. According to Brody, that’s not even close to the truth. When RJ brought up the claim, Brody jumped in to clear the air:
“All right. Here’s where we set the record straight. I don’t know how this became a thing. Yes, I worked in the Kia Forum parking lot. Yes. Not as a parking attendant.”I was a lighting technician for Union Local 720. We built the Trevy Fountain and Roman Square for the movie Angels and Demons. So I was not a parking lot attendant.”
RJ City kept things playful, joking:
“You were just wearing camo pants and they went, ‘This guy…’”
Brody responded with a touch of nostalgia about his early days in the industry:
“And I’m looking at the Forum being like, ‘Man, it’d be cool to do something there one day.’”
Now a fixture on AEW television, Brody King can look back at that moment with pride—proving you don’t have to start in the ring to end up there.
