Brody King is all in on AEW—and he’s not just saying that. The powerhouse recently spoke with Phil Lindsey of Grapsody and made one thing clear: AEW lives up to its tagline, “Where the best wrestle.”

“When you have guys like Takeshita, Ospreay, Kenny Omega, you have guys who are constantly in the picture of ‘best wrestler ever’ and ‘best wrestler currently,’” King explained. “You always want to challenge yourself, ‘What’s it look like if I’m in the ring with them? How do I match up with that?’”

King, who’s squared off against names like Bryan Danielson, Adam Copeland, and Will Ospreay, said he’s hungry for more. “I got to wrestle Takeshita recently. I got to wrestle Will Ospreay recently. I would love to have a match with Kenny Omega and really push myself with that.”

He also credited AEW for reigniting the kind of wrestling he grew up on. “AEW kind of brings back a lot of what brought people my age into wrestling; the blood, the violence, the more hard-hitting stuff,” he said, while also shouting out the company’s women’s division and overall in-ring talent.
