Despite years of public association with AEW and tributes from the company honoring his late father, Brodie Lee Jr. has officially set the record straight: he is not under contract with All Elite Wrestling—at least, not yet.

Speaking on The Wrestling Classic, the 12-year-old clarified a long-standing rumor that had fans assuming he was already signed with the promotion. According to Brodie, AEW made him a unique offer—one that only kicks in if he decides to accept it at 18.

“I’m not signed. Everybody thinks I’m signed — I’m not signed. I signed a contract for when I turn 18, if I want to. The deal was that when I turn 18, if I want that contract, it’s always open.”

In an even more surreal twist, Brodie revealed that he once signed a separate contract—strictly for a dream match against Jon Moxley, of all people.

“I also signed a random contract for when I turn 18 — me versus Moxley in a death match. I don’t know if I’ll take that. I’ll definitely wrestle him, just maybe not in a death match.”

The AEW offer is clearly symbolic but meaningful. It speaks volumes about the respect Tony Khan and AEW continue to show toward the Lee family after the heartbreaking passing of Brodie Lee Sr. This isn’t just a publicity stunt—it’s a genuine show of support that leaves the door wide open for Brodie Jr.’s future.

With his recent in-ring debut at a GCW event and consistent training behind the scenes, the future remains full of possibilities for Brodie Lee Jr. AEW may not have him locked in yet, but the company clearly believes in the long game.
