Brock Lesnar is officially back—at least in the virtual squared circle. WWE 2K25’s latest Patch 1.26 just dropped, and with it comes confirmation that Lesnar will return to the game as part of the new John Cena farewell content set to drop on October 16th.

This standalone DLC pack—tied to the upcoming John Cena farewell edition of WWE 2K25—is bringing a lot more than just nostalgia. The patch notes revealed that Brock Lesnar, John Cena 2003, Ron Cena, and a WrestleMania 41 version of John Cena have all been added to the character selection screen in advance of the content’s release.

Lesnar’s return to WWE 2K25 comes just months after his actual on-screen return at SummerSlam, where he dropped John Cena following Cena’s main event loss to Cody Rhodes on night two.

The Beast is coming in strong too—WWE 2K has Lesnar rated at a 94 overall, making him one of the game’s most dominant characters.
