As previously noted, the plan for next year’s WrestleMania headliner will see Brock Lesnar defending the WWE Universal Championship against Roman Reigns.
This match was discussed in the mailbag segment of today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio when a reader wrote into the show and asked if WWE plans to actually have Brock hold onto the title until the event. Dave Meltzer, the editor of the site, mentioned that he doesn’t exactly know what the plan is but it is very possible that Brock could lose the title before WrestleMania and win it back before the show. Meltzer said that he only knows that the plan is for Brock to defend the title on the card.
