Britt Baker hasn’t been seen on AEW programming since September 2024, and while her absence has led to fan speculation, a new update clears up her current contract status.
During the May 26, 2025 episode of the Fightful Select Report podcast, Sean Ross Sapp directly addressed Baker’s situation during the Q&A portion. When asked about her status, he gave a definitive response.
“She signed a five-year deal in the fall of 2021. So that would give her till at least the fall of 2026. And then there’s likely—I would assume—some injury time that could be added as well.”
That confirmation ends the debate about whether she’s still part of AEW. Baker is under contract through 2026.
Her last appearance on AEW TV involved a confrontation with Serena Deeb, and while her future creative direction remains unknown, she’s still contractually committed to AEW for the long haul.
