Britt Baker just resurfaced — and it wasn’t inside an AEW ring.
The former AEW Women’s World Champion was spotted attending the 2026 Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway, sharing multiple photos from the NASCAR event on her social media. The public appearance comes as Baker remains absent from AEW programming, with fans still waiting on clarity about her in-ring future.
Baker hasn’t wrestled on AEW television since November 13, 2024, when she defeated Penelope Ford. Following that win and a brief confrontation with Serena Deeb, she disappeared from weekly shows — fueling months of speculation about her status.
Rumors began circulating in July 2025 that Baker was seeking an exit from All Elite Wrestling, though reports at the time pushed back on those claims. AEW President Tony Khan is addressing the situation directly. Speaking on the Battleground podcast, Khan made it clear he still values Baker’s role in the company.
“Britt is somebody I really like and respect a lot.”
He also pointed to AEW’s expanded television schedule — now featuring four hours weekly across Dynamite and Collision — as opening the door for more roster opportunities. When pressed about Baker’s return timeline, Khan stopped short of giving a date but left little doubt about her future.
“I would expect to see Britt back in AEW. I just don’t want to say when.”
For now, Baker appears to be enjoying life outside the ring — soaking up race day energy at one of NASCAR’s biggest events — while fans continue to speculate about when Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. will make her next move.
