After Baker posted a beachside Instagram photo, a fan slid into the comments to say, “So I see your officially retired.” Baker didn’t hold back, delivering a stinging reply that quickly made the rounds online. “Because I’m at the beach…. In Florida… where I live?” she fired back.

Speculation around Baker’s AEW future has been running wild. Rumors suggested she was actively trying to leave the company, but AEW President Tony Khan shot those down fast. Khan confirmed Baker had “never talked to me about leaving” and explained that her absence is simply due to AEW’s rotating talent policy. He added she’d return “when the time is right.”

Still, Baker’s extended hiatus has fans talking. Her last on-screen moment came during a promo with Serena Deeb nearly a year ago, and many believe if she doesn’t show up on the September 24 Dynamite in Pittsburgh — her hometown — the silence might become permanent.
