Brinley Reece’s departure from WWE is now official.
Following her announcement on January 4 about stepping away from professional wrestling due to health challenges and a serious injury, WWE has now updated its website to reflect her status change. As of January 14, Reece has been officially moved from the active roster to the alumni section—confirming her exit from the company after more than three years. The update comes just days after Reece took to Instagram to share a deeply personal message with her fans.
“After three years, I am officially closing my chapter Wrestling at WWE,” Reece wrote. “This decision came after navigating personal health challenges and a serious injury that required surgery last year.”
She made it clear her departure wasn’t about giving up—but about choosing her health and future.
“This isn’t an ending — it’s a redirection. I’m proud of everything I gave to this chapter, and even more excited for what’s ahead.”
Reece signed with WWE in early 2023 and quickly became a fan-favorite on NXT, earning praise for her athleticism, charisma, and relentless drive. Her run was marked by both rapid development and difficult setbacks—most notably a serious shoulder injury in 2025 that forced her to the sidelines for months.
Now, with her official roster status updated, Reece closes the WWE chapter of her journey—one that fans won’t soon forget.
