Zack Ryder’s return to WWE SmackDown didn’t end the way fans hoped.

After stepping back into the spotlight for the “Last Time Is Now” tournament, the former Internet Champion took a hard loss to LA Knight—and now his longtime tag partner has broken his silence. Brian Myers took to Twitter after the match and revealed what Ryder asked him in the aftermath of the defeat.

“Let me ask you something, is Woo Woo alright?”

That wasn’t a punchline. It was a gut-level moment of concern—Myers giving fans a glimpse into how much the loss hit home for his friend. The two have been ride-or-die since their Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder days in WWE, and Myers didn’t need to say much to let fans know the vibe backstage.

Ryder hadn’t competed on WWE television in over five years and used his old moniker for the surprise comeback. After spending years on the indie circuit as Matt Cardona, the return was short-lived—but clearly still meant something.

Was this just a quick cameo, or the start of something more? Either way, one thing’s clear—Brian Myers is still in Ryder’s corner, win or lose.

What did you think of Zack Ryder’s return and LA Knight shutting it down fast? Should WWE run it back or let it be? Drop your thoughts below.
