Brian Cage and Lance Archer just got hit with a major Hollywood snub — because the first teaser for Steven Spielberg’s new film Disclosure Day dropped, and they’re nowhere to be found.

Universal Pictures released the teaser on December 16, featuring A-listers like Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, Colman Domingo, and Colin Firth. But fans who were expecting to catch a glimpse of the two AEW stars were left hanging. Cage and Archer had previously confirmed they filmed scenes for the movie back in July, sparking major buzz about their roles in Spielberg’s mysterious sci-fi project.

The snub didn’t go unnoticed. Wrestling fans took to social media almost immediately, pointing out the absence and wondering whether the pair had been cut entirely or if their scenes are just being saved for a future reveal.

Disclosure Day marks Spielberg’s return to the director’s chair for the first time since West Side Story in 2021. Written by longtime collaborator David Koepp (Jurassic Park, War of the Worlds), the film is set to hit theaters on June 12, 2026 — but so far, the only wrestling connections we’ve seen are in the credits.
