Braun Strowman has finally addressed the big question about what’s next for him after WWE released him earlier this year, and it looks like the Monster Among Men is setting his sights outside the ring.
In a new video posted to Instagram, Strowman opened up about his next chapter, admitting he’s ready to explore passions that extend far beyond wrestling.
“All right, what’s going on? Everybody, it’s time to address the elephant in the room, that being me and the question that everybody wants to know. Adam, what’s next?”
He reflected on his career in the ring and made it clear he isn’t shutting the door on wrestling entirely.
“It’s no secret the last decade plus my life, I’ve travelled around the world getting hit in the head and kicked and slammed and punched and vice versa to other people and smashing cars and everything else in between. And it’s been an absolute amazing ride. Not saying that I’m not going to get back in the ring and whip somebody’s ass, because we all know I can, but it’s an opportunity for me to try some new stuff and I’m really looking forward to it.”
The former WWE star revealed that his next ventures will involve reconnecting with family and friends while diving into lifestyle projects he’s passionate about.
“I’m looking forward to rekindling relationships with family and friends that I’ve missed out on and things that you know you just don’t get to do while you’re on the road because it’s so busy. I’m looking for real organic things and passions and experiences.”
One of those passions includes food and drink. Strowman confirmed he has a new television project lined up that will explore the culinary world, and he’s also diving into the spirits industry with a tequila brand he’s fully backing.
“With my passion and my exciting new television show, coming out in the food space, talking about food, trying food, the cars, and you know, my passion for that, my passion for spirits as well. I’ve really, really learned that I like tequila. Not just any tequila. It’s got to be good. I found one that, well, reminds me of me. They’re hard working, they believe in themselves, they don’t cut corners, and they’re not full of shit.”
Strowman made it clear he doesn’t view himself as a celebrity, just someone following his gut and putting his support behind something real.
“That’s why I don’t think I’m a celebrity. I’m just a redneck that had a cool job. I’m a redneck that enjoys tequila. I’m a redneck that enjoys good tequila. Maybe I’m even your tequila poppy.”
The powerhouse ended his video by teasing that he’ll be officially unveiling his tequila project soon.
“So that being said, I’m making a journey into a space that I’ve never been before. I can’t wait to share it with you in the tequila that I’ve grown to love, that I believe in, and that I want to support along their journey and bring it to every one of y’all. I cannot wait to announce this. Stay tuned.”
It’s clear Strowman isn’t slowing down after leaving WWE — he’s just redirecting his energy into new passions that might surprise fans.
