Braun Strowman didn’t let Paul Heyman rewrite history without clapping back—and he did it with brutal receipts.

On the October 6 episode of WWE Raw, Paul Heyman claimed that Roman Reigns had never been beaten so badly he had to be taken out on a stretcher. Heyman made the comment while hyping Reigns’ upcoming Australian Street Fight against Bronson Reed at Crown Jewel.

But Strowman wasn’t having it. The former WWE Universal Champion took to Twitter to call out Heyman’s revisionist take—and he didn’t hold back, calling Heyman out by name and image.

“yea ok Oswald Cobblepot!!”

For those not up on their Gotham villains, Oswald Cobblepot is The Penguin—an insult Strowman paired with screenshots from his infamous backstage beatdown of Roman Reigns on WWE Raw back in April 2017.

In that segment, Reigns was definitely stretchered out by medical staff after Strowman slammed him through equipment and backstage crates. But Strowman didn’t stop there—he beat Reigns up again inside the ambulance and even flipped the entire vehicle with Reigns still inside.

So when Heyman said Reigns had “never been beaten that badly,” fans—and Strowman—were quick to point out otherwise. Whether it was an intentional dig or a convenient rewrite to elevate Bronson Reed’s storyline, Strowman’s not letting the WWE Universe forget who really crushed the Tribal Chief first.
