Brandi Rhodes has officially ruled herself out of the 2026 Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia—but says the idea of one last entrance still holds a special place in her heart.

On the latest episode of her A Shot of Brandi show with guest Maxxine Dupri, Rhodes responded to questions about possibly entering this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble, which takes place January 31 in Riyadh. While she hasn’t wrestled since January 26, 2022, on AEW Dark, the thought of returning for one night only clearly made her nostalgic.

“Y’all make me wanna get into the wrestling ring, but then I’m like, no—if I take a bump, I might just poof into like a puff, a cloud of smoke, and that’s it. That’s how I go out.”

Rhodes reflected on how wild it felt to come back after having her daughter, Liberty, and hinted that if she ever returned, it wouldn’t be about lasting long.

“If I ever were to come back and do anything, I would love to make an entrance at the Royal Rumble and be out in—let’s see how fast. Maybe three seconds.”

When Dupri asked if fans could expect to see her in the ring this weekend, Brandi shut it down—but with her signature humor. Ultimately, Rhodes said that if she ever does return, it would be for her daughter more than anything.

“No, no, no, we’re not. I literally would probably hit the ring and be like, please throw me out, please throw me out—somebody throw me out. Who’s got me, who’s got me? It would really just be to make the entrance one more time for Libby.”

Brandi might not be gearing up for a surprise Royal Rumble spot this year, but it’s clear the door isn’t completely shut—especially if it means making a memory for her daughter.
