Booker T Reveals His Current Status For 2026 Royal Rumble Event

The Royal Rumble is set to go down in Saudi Arabia on January 31. We heard a few Superstars who will be in the match, but no commentary announcements have been given. This will be a huge show in Saudi Arabia, but that doesn’t mean everyone on the company’s payroll will be making the show.

Booker T is a mainstay in NXT at this point. His voice and energy are all over the Tuesday night program. That being said, he hasn’t booked a flight to Saudi Arabia yet.

During the latest Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T noted that he hasn’t received any notice about the 2026 Royal Rumble yet. His co-host asked him about it, but the WWE Hall of Famer didn’t have the best response for those who are hoping to hear his Shucky Ducky Quack Quack moment in Saudi Arabia.

Booker T said that he’s “still waiting for a call” about the 2026 Royal Ruble event. He obviously wouldn’t be wrestling, but his perspective place on the commentary table might be taken by someone else on the show.

You never know if WWE will decide that they need Booker T at the last minute. At this point, they are running out of time. So, we will have to see if he shows up during the premium live event.
