Booker T Addresses The Rock and Triple H Rumors – “Two Alphas Are Bound to Butt Heads”

Booker T isn’t ruling out the possibility of heat between The Rock and Triple H.

During a recent episode of his Hall of Fame podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer weighed in on the rumored friction between WWE’s Chief Content Officer and Hollywood megastar Dwayne Johnson.

“You know what, man? It could be. Could be,” Booker T said. “I wouldn’t be surprised. Let me tell you right now, man, when you’re dealing in a testosterone-fueled business where you’re dealing with a bunch of men, you know, I’m sure there’s going to be some heat and some friction somewhere down the line.”

Booker T didn’t stop there, emphasizing that power struggles are almost inevitable given the alpha personalities involved. “Then you got two guys like Triple H and The Rock. You got two alphas, man. I’m sure there’s going to be some head-butting here and there. So, hey, man, I wouldn’t be surprised. Let’s just say that,” he added.

This comes just after Kevin Nash shot down rumors of backstage drama between the two WWE icons, insisting that The Rock is simply too busy managing his Hollywood career to engage in power plays. “Does anybody know what IMDb is and then you go to their page and you see the projects he has? Dwayne is pretty busy,” Nash said on his Kliq This podcast.

With conflicting takes from two WWE legends, fans are left to wonder whether the reported tension is real or just another backstage storyline.
