The September 16th Homecoming edition of WWE NXT was the dose of nostalgia fans were looking for. But it’s clear WWE isn’t done making fans happy, as #DIY finally brought back their classic Glorious Bomb video, featuring Bobby Roode.

NXT’s official Twitter account took to the social media platform and uploaded a video of Johnny Gargano and Bobby Roode backstage at Full Sail University. Since it was a tradition, they both played Bobby Roode’s theme song, hoping to do another glorious bomb.

While initially Bobby Roode wasn’t there, he eventually appeared in the video and was initially hesitant about his appearance there. Thankfully, he eventually smiled as Gargano and Ciampa celebrated a successful Glorious Bomb.

Back in the day, Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano put out a ton of videos that went viral. They would always play Bobby Roode’s Glorious theme song, and bob their heads to the music. Then the camera would find Roode in some way and he was never amused by their antics.

This marked the first time they did a Glorious Bomb since October 2023, so it was obviously a big deal. The Glorious Bomb return was more than a fun surprise; it reminded fans what makes NXT special. That’s why many fans are hoping this won’t be the last time we see a Glorious Bomb, so only time will tell when it will happen again.

Did the Glorious Bomb live up to your expectations? Would you like to see more of these classic segments return on future NXT shows? Sound off in the comments.
