Bobby Lashley Set for First Indie Wrestling Match in Over a Decade

Bobby Lashley has been part of the AEW family since debuting back in October 2024 and has already seen a lot of success there. He’s a full-time AEW star but now it appears he has been confirmed for an indie event this year, which would be his first-ever indie show in a long time.

BZ Wrestling announced on Twitter that Bobby Lashley will be competing at their French Tour event on August 30th. The show will take place in Gennevilliers, France, and fans can look forward to seeing the AEW star in action during the international event.

Bobby Lashley’s last appearance on the independent wrestling scene was back on December 27, 2014. He competed at an Independent Wrestling Show event, where he won the promotion’s Heavyweight Championship.

Afterwards, he would end up joining TNA Wrestling, WWE and now AEW, so this will actually be his first indie show in well over a decade. Therefore, we’ll have to wait and see who The Almighty will face at the French event, as fans are really excited for his indie return.
