Bobby Lashley Hints at AEW Reunion with Lio Rush

Bobby Lashley may be new to AEW, but he’s already got his eyes on a potential reunion that would turn heads.

During a recent interview with WFAA, the former WWE Champion was asked about the possibility of linking back up with his old partner Lio Rush now that they’re both part of AEW. Lashley didn’t shy away from showing love for Lio, calling him one of the most talented guys in the business and teasing that their paths will cross again sooner or later.

“I love Lio. I say it all the time, man, I love Lio. I think Lio has a tremendous amount of talent across the board. He’s always, always doing something. If he… he just needs a platform to be able to do it.”

While Lashley made it clear there’s nothing officially lined up yet, he expects a reunion inside an AEW ring is only a matter of time.

“Am I gonna do something with Lio? I don’t know. I really don’t know. I’m sure down the road, if I spend some time with AEW, we are definitely gonna cross paths. I mean, he has a tag team, he has a tag team partner, so I’m surprised that we have not crossed paths in that… in that capacity, but I think we’re definitely gonna do something while I’m here in AEW for sure.”

Lashley and Rush made waves as a duo in WWE, with Rush often hyping Lashley up as his mouthpiece and manager. Now with both men under the AEW umbrella, fans are already speculating when the two might share the screen again.
