The wrestling world continues to honor the legacy of Bob Caudle, one of the most respected voices in the history of pro wrestling commentary. In a new update, the official memorial service for Caudle has now been confirmed.

A memorial service for Bob Caudle will be held at Hayes Barton Baptist Church in Raleigh, North Carolina, on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 2:00 PM. The church is located at 1800 Glenwood Ave, and their phone number is (919) 833-4617.

Caudle passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 95. His son confirmed the news earlier this week. Mid-Atlantic Gateway was the first to share the family’s message:

“It is with a very sad heart that I report that Bob Caudle has passed away. He was 95 years old. His son Mike wrote this morning that Bob passed away peacefully in his sleep overnight. Our thoughts, prayers, and love go out to his family. More information will be forthcoming.”

Bob Caudle’s career stretched across decades, beginning in the 1950s and lasting into the 1990s. He was most known for his work with Jim Crockett Promotions and WCW, calling matches for Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling, World Wide Wrestling, and early Starrcade events. Caudle also spent time in Smoky Mountain Wrestling and remained a beloved figure for his calm, steady commentary style that emphasized the action, not himself.

He worked alongside names like Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone, and Gordon Solie. Away from wrestling, Caudle spent years working as a legislative assistant for Senator Jesse Helms after leaving broadcasting.

He is survived by his wife of more than 50 years, three children, and seven grandchildren.
