Blake Monroe Makes Shocking Character Shift During WWE Evolution

WWE brought Evolution 2 to fans, and it was a historic show. Atlanta, Georgia’s State Farm Arena saw a few interesting moments, and the NXT Women’s Title match was quite a contest.

Jacy Jayne took on Jordynne Grace with the NXT Women’s Title on the line. Fatal Influence was on hand in Jayne’s corner, and Blake Monroe stood on Grace’s side.

The match was back-and-forth and fans were on the edge of their seats. In the end, the NXT Women’s Title was brought into the picture as a potential weapon, but the referee stopped it from going down.

Eventually, Blake Monroe ended up with the NXT Women’s Title, and she used it to take a swing at the ring during the match. However, Jacy Jayne reversed Jordynne Grace’s Irish Whip into the ropes. Then Monroe hit Grace with the belt which gave Jayne a chance to win the match.

After the contest, Blake Monroe teased that she meant to turn on Jordynne Grace as she walked across the ring where Fatal Influence was celebrating. This tease also gave a big indication that she will be a presence to be dealt with.

We will keep a close eye on the women’s division in WWE, because it’s anyone’s guess how things will pan out. Evolution may also become a yearly event, but we thought the same thing during the first one in 2018.
